There is no greater satisfaction than to take a sheet of metal–cut it, hammer it, solder it– and turn it into the design in my head.
I use classic metalsmithing tools and new-fangled techniques–from a simple jeweler’s saw, repousse and chasing tools to a 3D printer and I get to use a torch–this makes me happy.
Inspired by motifs from the 1920s, 30s, and 40s I try to interpret the details of what defined these eras into modern, minimal, everyday jewelry and big, bold, statement pieces. I like accessories that are a bit quirky, unexpected, and always fun…. I hope you do too.
